Every year Apogaea supports the I Love You Guys Foundation, a park county based 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
On Sunday, September 29, 2013 the Foundation will be hosting their annual 5k fundraiser, which Apogaea has historically supported with volunteers and runners. This year, the Foundation is asking for:
- 10 course marshals to walk out on the run course and direct runners
- 4 or so people to hand out water and bandannas to runners
- 3-4 people to help with registration
- 1-2 people to assist in cooking and serving food donated by Apogaea (see below)
Apogaea has also historically donated food and cooked it to serve to hungry runners free of charge. We would like one or two people interested in assisting with this effort as well.

We have had a strong turn-out in the past and we hope this year will be no different. We also encourage Apogaeaians to run in the 5k.
