SYNCHRONICITY

submitted by Rose Swansong.

SYNCHRONICITY

Psychologist Carl Jung coined the term in the 1920s to explain the experience of two or more events as meaningfully related, where they are unlikely to be causally related. The subject sees it as a meaningful coincidence. Jung was transfixed by the idea that life was not a series of random events but rather an expression of a deeper order. This deeper order led to the insights that a person was both embedded in an orderly framework and was the focus of that orderly framework and that the realization of this was more than just an intellectual exercise, but also had elements of a spiritual awakening. He also believed that in a person’s life, synchronicity served a role similar to that of dreams, with the purpose of shifting a person’s egocentric conscious thinking to greater wholeness. Synchronicities are people, places or events that your soul attracts into your life to help you evolve to higher consciousness or to place emphasis on something going on in your life. The more ‘consciously aware’ you become of how your soul manifests, the higher your frequency becomes and the faster you manifest positively. Each day your life encounters meaningful coincidences, synchronicities, that you have attracted, on other words created in the grid of your experiences in the physical. Souls create synchronicities, played out in the physical.

Apogaea 2014 Ticket Design Winner

Shortly after the 2014 theme, “Emergence,” was voted on by Ignition and announced, the ticket design contest began.  The theme drives the basic concept of the design and then artists work their magic.  Besides the reward of having the design go down in history to represent that particular year, the winner receives a free ticket to Apo!

This year’s ticket design winner was actually the collaborative work of two artists!

Congrats to Julie Stenger and Yana Nightingale! Continue reading
