Does this make your creative genius run wild?  Want to see your art in the hands of 1,000’s of people?  Then enter your work into the Apogaea 2011 ticket and flyer design contest hosted by the Apogaea Creative Committee.

Deadline:  Midnight on January 15th, 2011

We will be using ONE design for both tickets and flyers.

Content Guidelines:  Submissions will be judged based on concept, execution & image quality.  Both tickets and flyers should use a similar design and include the following elements:
The name of the event, “Apogaea” – please make this a prominent element of the design
The website address, www.apogaea.com
The Apogaea logo, which you can download here in EPS

This year’s theme, “Illuminate”
The date of the event, June x–x, 2011 (date TBD)

Art Guidelines:  Submissions that do not adhere to the guidelines will not be considered.
Flyer size: 5.5″x4.25″ + .25″ bleed on all 4 sides = 6″x4.75″
Ticket size: 3″x5″ + .25″ bleed on all 4 sides = 3. 5″x5.5″ (Please note that there will be a ticket stub that tears off.  The dimensions of the stub is 3”x1.625”; the remaining ticket is 3”x3.375” + .25″ bleed on all 4 sides.)
File Formats:  tiff, eps, pdf, and high quality jpg files accepted
Resolution: 300 dpi is ideal, but files must be at least 200 dp

All images used in the art must be created by the artist or under proper copyright license. Using images pulled off the internet is usually not a good idea and may expose you to copyright infringement claims if not properly licensed.
