For the FOURTH year in a row, Apogaea is offering you awesome peeps a chance to help a great cause and have some fun with local Bailey folks. Let’s show our support of the Bailey Community as they show support of our event. Keep that giving spirit alive year round!
HOW DO YOU HELP, YOU ASK? Join us to volunteer for the I Love You Guys Foundation (ILYG) Annual Emily’s Parade on September 28th, 2014!
Emily’s Parade is a charity 5K and huge motorcycle rally along with music and food, to help support the I Love You Guys Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit based in Bailey, CO. Every year since 2011, Apogaea has officially supported ILYG by leveraging our strongest and most valuable asset – our awesome community – to provide volunteers to help run the event.
Volunteers will serve as “course marshals” to direct runners along the course for the 5K race and we will also need help grilling and serving free sausages to parade attendees.
Grilling Team: (4 needed)
– Must arrive to Platte Canyon HS by 8:00 am
– Set up tents/tables, cook/serve sausages, clean up/break down when done (usually around 2 pm)
Course Marshalls: (4 needed)
– Must arrive to Platte Canyon HS by 9:15 am
– Assigned to a station along course, finished once final runner passes, then free to go or stay to help with grilling, or to enjoy the event
