It has come to the attention of CATS that some art grant applicants may have experienced technical difficulty during the application period. We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion many of you felt with the new grant system.
CATS tech support was online and ready to help any artists who were having trouble at [email protected] and [email protected] from 6pm until the deadline.
Unfortunately, unless CATS tech support was contacted prior to the deadline, we could not help with any technical issues. CATS tries to help artists with every opportunity and support within the guidelines. We always encourage artists to submit early to allow extra time to resolve issues. The application period was 3 weeks and information regarding the deadline was posted throughout multiple online forums by multiple persons throughout that period.
Apogaea has historically held to firm submission deadlines. Unfortunately unless an artist notified CATS of a technical issue prior to the deadline we will not be considering their grant application.
