As you all may know, we have been without a community reporter for the past year. While this by no means excuses us from not having the board’s meeting minutes available in some way, it did impact us. This entire year’s meeting minutes are now publicly available for you to read on our new page, Board Meeting Minutes.
These are the minutes that are required by law as a 501c3 organization. The only editing that took place was corrected spelling and grammatical errors. Our new community reporter will get rolling in January and things will start to look like they have in the past. Hopefully these meeting minutes answer the many questions that you’ve had about what actually happened in the months leading up to the cancellation of our event this year.
It is a small gesture, but hopefully it provides the intended positive impact. Transparency has not happened in the way that the 2016 board wishes it to happen in the future.
