The votes are in and we are excited to announce the newest additions to the BOD!
There are a total of 9 board members at any given time. Every year, Ignition elects three new board members for 3-year terms. In addition to our 3 full-term positions, the new board votes in as needed to fill vacancies that occur.
89 of 136 Ignition members voted for the three open 3-year positions. In other words, roughly 65% of the members participated in the vote.
Please welcome our newest members of the
Apogaea Board of Directors voted in by Ignition:
- Julie “Twister” Nelson
- John Perez (this past year, John replaced a board member who previously resigned. This was a vote to fill the 3-year role)
- Michael Moss
Here is what happened at the Board Meeting on Sunday, August 10th, 2014:
»Per the Bylaws ARTICLE VII, Section 6, the BOD also voted in replacements for board members who have stepped down from their positions prior to their official end date. Jen, Steve and Sherpa have chosen to step down for personal reasons.
