For those of you who are curious as to our current state of fire ban, the Park County website notes their current fire ban status, and includes a PDF with a description of their Stage I and Stage II Fire Bans, Stage II being the more stringent of the two. You can check this at any time to get a general idea of the local situation where Apogaea will be held.

IMPORTANT: Apogaea’s fire ban is not just determined by Park County’s general fire ban! Local fire districts can impose their own restrictions or exemptions, and local weather conditions will also affect our fire ban status during the event. Our event ban is influenced by the county-wide status, but may be more strict than the county-wide ban. Apogaea’s burn status will be announced as it changes, and monitored through the event, based on our own assessments, and directives from the fire district.
