Performance Art is instrumental music, spoken word, theater, or any other form of live performance. You may either hold your performance in your own camp, befriend a theme camp with a workable space, or sign up to use the space at Center Camp, which will have a large tent structure with lighting and power.

Art Grants

Apogaea is a place to share radical self-expression and artistic creativity with the community. While currency is removed from the event itself, the reality remains that it takes cash to help creativity happen. The apogaea Board helps seed the event with artistic expression through the fair distribution of art grants. We want to encourage your creativity even if you don’t think of yourself as an “artist”. So, if you need some financial assistance to make your creative idea become a reality, we are here to help.

Volunteer

Apogaea is an event held by the participants, for the participants. And one of the best ways to participate is by signing up for volunteer shifts. It’s a boat load of fun, and it really enhances the Apogaea experience. And it makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. And quite often, outside as well. But any itching or burning should be checked out by your doctor.

Join Ignition

Ignition is the team of voting members for Apogaea. Joining Ignition is your way to get more involved in the future and planning of Apogaea and your way to make sure your voice is represented on the Board.

Ignition Team Members:
• All Board Members–(elected by Ignition members) and Officers
• All Regional Burning Man Representatives–(appointed by Burning Man)
• All Territorial Ambassadors–(appointed by the Board of Directors)
• All event leads (Apogaea key volunteers, who volunteer and are voted into lead volunteer positions by the Board)
