We Won Apo! Thanks to All Who Participated!

WOW!  What an amazing experience for so many of us!  Friendships were forged or solidified, creative expressions of various forms blossomed throughout and we experienced a brief respite from the demands of the default world.
Effigy and Temple 2014
From arrival to a nostalgic departure, logistics flowed smoothly. The Effigy and Temple burned beautifully and BAMF helped keep it a safe environment. The main road was opened up to two lanes, there was a road added for more efficient shuttling, and there was more parking.  The art installations and theme camps rocked it!

We couldn’t have done it without the help of all involved.  Thanks to the Board of Directors and all departments within Ignition; to artists, event volunteers and each of you who embrace and practice the 10 principles.

If your inner photographer came out at Apogaea, don’t forget to upload your pictures to our official Apogaea Flikr Group! Who knows-I might contact you about that awesome robot picture you took as we’re always looking to add pictures to the Apogaea website!

While Ignition and the Board of Directors recoup, check out the Apogaea events calendar. We have several important events coming up, including the first after-event board meeting.

Keep your eye out for announcements regarding the 2014 Census as well as the call for Board of Directors applications. Your input regarding the event is vital for the betterment of future years, so please do complete the Census. If you think you’ve got what it takes to be on the board, applications will start being accepted on the 4th of July, so stay tuned!
